Support Of Brahman Mahasangh For State Election

For the upcoming State Elections, the BJP has completely stunned opposition parties and voters by offering a ticket to the Honourable Revenue Minister of Maharashtra- Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil through the Kothrud-Pune constituency. This decision came across as a complete surprise package for all and the eleventh-hour masterstroke by the BJP senior authorities. Earlier, this decision was criticised by local people of Kothrud as the candidature of Kolhapur was offered to the Kothrud-Pune constituency. However, due to the increasingly effective public relations of Honourable Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil and his promising leadership style, this criticism is getting converted into a positive approach rapidly. Recently, one such example has been discussed in this regard.

The Revenue Minister Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil was selected for the Kothrud-Pune constituency election,during the initial stages whom the Brahman Mahasangh opposed for this decision.This constituency is identified with the majority of the Brahmin population and it is said that the Brahman Mahasangh was expecting a candidate from the same community to lead the said constituency. Thereafter, Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil had a successful meeting with the Brahman Mahasangh authorities in Pune. After this meeting, the Brahman Mahasangh has changed their viewpoint completely and is ready to support Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil in the form of the Brahmin vote bank.

Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil conducted a meeting with Brahman Mahasangh authorities including Professor Mohini Patki, Mr Jitendra Kulkarni, Mr Anand Dave, etc. after which, the Mahasangh authorities have released a letter to support Honourable Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil. During this meeting, the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance candidate- Mr Chandrakant Patil and the assigned Brahman Mahasangh authority had a brief discussion on the different problems associated with the Brahmin community and their respective demands. Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil assured the community’s leaders that he will consider all these problems and demands sympathetically and will put maximum efforts to fulfil these in the next tenure. 

The authorities of the Brahman Mahasangh have specified all details in the letter released to support Honourable Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil. The details specified through this letter include the establishment of an economic development corporation for the Brahmin community, problems frequently faced by the community’s students, etc. Honourable Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil has promised that the new government will consider all these factors and demands positively and sympathetically. The Brahman Mahasangh has decided to support Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil as the MLA of Kothrud due to his positive attitude and the overall progress and betterment of the state, that will only be possible by the NDA alliance. 

In the State of Maharashtra, the Brahmin community comprises around 4-5% of the total population. This community lacks good support in the form of strong political backing at present. It is possible that the Brahman Mahasangh authorities might have found a true leader in Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil. Meanwhile, the latter also posted a Twitter video recently to throw light on personal aspects related to the Kothrud-Pune constituency, saying that his wife also belongs to this community and Pune. Collaboratively, all these reasons can make Mr Chandrakant Patil a true leader who will fight for the demands and rights of the Brahmin community. To sum it all up, Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil’s positive and promising attitude towards the Brahman community has shown miraculous results by transforming the mindset of the Brahman Mahasangh.
