Auto-Rickshaw Journey in Election Campaign

Traffic is the most severe issue in Pune city. Recently, a survey was conducted in Asian cities to study the hazards of traffic in every region and according to this survey, Pune happens to be in top-10. Moreover, Pune and Bangalore have crossed 3 metro cities of India, namely- Delhi, Chennai, and Mumbai in the said survey. During occasions such as rallies, roadshows, heavy rain, festival season, etc. the traffic issue in Pune area worsens further. The BJP Chief of Maharashtra- Honourable Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil, who also happens to be the candidate of Kothrud-Pune constituency for the upcoming Assembly election, recently set a new positive trend that can be followed by all, especially by politicians. 

Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil is extensively engaged in the election campaign at Kothrud, Pune area at the moment. He has had a hectic schedule with several meetings, rallies, roadshow and interactive sessions with many organisations, institutes, clubs, etc. since the past few days. Just recently, he had a road-show programme in ward 10. This show was supposed to begin by paying tribute to the King of Kings- Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s statue and thereafter, the Navagrah temple, Bhalke Nagar, Atre Society, Gujarat Colony, Shastrinagar, and conclusion at Ashish Garden. After this roadshow, Mr Patil had another meeting with MP Mr Raosaheb Danave. Now, it wasn’t possible to use Shri Patil’s vehicle during this programme since roads were extremely crowded and his vehicle couldn’t be move even one bit. In this situation, Mr Patil travelled by an auto-rickshaw to reach the destination. He used the rickshaw to travel with ease through small colonies and narrow roads. Once he reached the nearest highway, his vehicle picked him up to attend an event at Balewadi thereafter.

Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil’s auto-rickshaw journey has been the talk of the town. His decision of choosing a rickshaw instead of his vehicle also helped him avoid traffic and any further delays for the programmes. Mr Patil is being greatly appreciated and respected by the people of Kothrud for his special journey in the election campaign.

Shri Chandrakant Patil always has proved time and again that he is a leader of the common people. His down-to-earth nature is well admired by all, even in political circles. Shri Chandrakant Patil opted for a Rickshaw in the election campaign and avoided traffic and delay issues. This also showcases his flexibility, social responsiveness, and punctuality. People of Kolhapur always appreciate Mr Chandrakant Patil for his connection with the common man and down-to-earth approach. Through this example, Kothrudkars also got to experience the same.

Meanwhile, Mr Patil also happens to be the Mahayuti candidate for the upcoming state election through the Kothrud constituency. He has been the PWD Minister of the State. Mr Patil has paid significant attention to traffic issues in Kothrud area and has also promised to resolve these issues during his next MLA tenure. He also has assured that the Dange Chowk overbridge work will be accelerated, due to which the current traffic load will get minimised considerably. On 21st October, the new MLA of Kothrud area will be declared and this decision will unlock many plans and projects.
