New Inning—A Great Beginning


On 24th October, Maharashtra state election results were declared and the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance established the control again for the next 5 years term. BJP and Shiv-Sena have secured 161 seats in total out of 288 and they have received a clear majority for establishing their government again in the state. A few of the constituencies were considered as the prestigious ones due to the changed political equations and many other factors. One of the prestigious constituencies among the state was the Kothrud-Pune constituency. This constituency has been secured by the BJP Chief of Maharashtra- Honourable Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil.

Yesterday, the election results were declared, and all media channels concentrated on only election result news. As mentioned above, for the prestigious Kothrud Pune constituency, it was a direct fight between Honourable Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil who also happens to be Maharashtra’s BJP President and the MNS candidate Mr Kishor Shinde. However, in every round of vote counting, Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil took a significant vote lead and secured victory in the Assembly election.
After this victory, Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil took to his Twitter account to thank voters and express himself. He cordially thanked all the voters for putting their trust in him and providing an important opportunity as the MLA of Kothrud. Mr Patil also visited the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Maharshi Karve statue at Kothrud to pay tribute to these legends. Thereafter, he visited the Gramadevata of Kothrud Shri Mhatoba temple. Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil has thanked all voters for their valuable vote. He has assured them that he will put in his best efforts for the development of Kothrud. Mr Patil started his day with the blessings of Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati yesterday. 

In short, it can be concluded that it is a new inning for Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil. Earlier, he was the elected candidate for the Graduate constituency that represents 5 districts altogether. However, it was his first attempt at contesting for the Vidhan Sabha election and he received tremendous success in this attempt. Additionally, Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil has been the Guardian Minister of Pune district for the last 6 months and his appointment as the MLA of Kothrud is significant and contextual with reference to different developmental initiatives in Pune district. 

Meanwhile, in Maharashtra state, the BJP and Shiv Sena alliance will soon begin its new inning. The cabinet will be established under the leadership of Honourable Chief Minister Mr Devendra Fadnavis. It is but obvious that the Shiv Sena will also play a vital role in the cabinet due to its outstanding performance in the state election. Within one or two weeks, all equations will be clear, and Maharashtra will witness the Fadnavis era once again. We convey our best wishes to Honourable Chief Minister and Honourable Chandrakant Dada Patil for the second term.

Seminar On Revocation Of Articles 370 And 35A
