Interview to Divya Marathi

The Kothrud-Pune Assembly election Mahayuti candidate- Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil recently gave a candid interview to Divya Marathi. During this interview, he expressed his thoughts about opposition parties, the strength of the BJP, and how the thought process of rebels works. 

When Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil was asked about BJP’s alliance formation decision with Shiv-Sena instead of contesting for the election on an individual basis, he replied that the decision of forming an alliance is not a compromise but rather the union of one common thought-process. Both parties work on the same agenda. Their principles are based on development, love, devotion, and culture. These principles are mandatory in achieving progress and solving different problems. Development and Hinduism are the connecting factors between Shiv Sena and BJP. This decision will help the BJP to establish its government again in the state. 

While replying to the question about ignorance to loyal BJP leaders due to newly joined candidates, Mr. Patil said that BJP has promoted new candidates at only 10% seats. Remaining all constituencies are being contested by old, honest and principle-oriented BJP people only. He also informed that Mr. Vijasingh Mohite and Mr. Ranjitsingh Mohite will be felicitated after the election and the candidate suggested by them Mr. Ram Satpute is in the race. 

Mr. Patil expressed aggressively when he was asked about the frequent use of Article 370 decision in the Maharashtra election campaign. Mr. Chandrakant Patil clarified that article 370 is the matter of India and Jammu-Kashmir. It's not an offense to talk about it in the Maharashtra election campaign. The decision of scrapping article 370 is highly beneficial regarding unity and security. There is not any sin to discuss it. Also, the BJP leaders are presenting the list of development work achieved in the last 5 years. Alongside the next 5 years’ work agenda is ready and the BJP leaders are informing about it through the movement. He also appealed Mr. Sharad Pawar to declare his views on Article 370 and whether he thinks that talking about it is any kind of crime. 

When Mr Patil was asked about the possibility of Deputy Chief Minister position to Mr Aditya Thackrey, he wisely avoided the topic and informed that the Central authorities will take the decision. He also clarified that he is contesting this election through Kothrud constituency as per the instructions of Central authorities. 

When he was asked about skipping Mr. Khadse, Mr. Tawde, and Mr. Bavankule he replied that this decision has been finalized by the Central Authorities and he will choose to keep mum in this matter even if he knows any facts regarding it. He also added that Mr. Gopichand Padalkar will give a tough challenge to Mr. Ajit Pawar at Baramati. His honest efforts are appreciable. 

When Mr Patil was asked about the effect of rebels, he answered that BJP and Shiv-Sena admit the fact of harm due to rebels. This type of tendency is commonly observed in human-beings and nothing is wrong in it. More important is how successfully the party convinces them. BJP and Sena have been successful to convince many of the insurgents. As a result of this, it is expected that they will support the official party member during the election.
