Interactive Session at Dnyansagar Institute, Balewadi

The countdown for Maharashtra state election has already begun… With just 10 days remaining for the assembly election scheduled for 21st October, senior BJP leader and Revenue Minister of Maharashtra- Honourable Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil has initiated his Kothrud -Pune election campaign with full enthusiasm. Mr Patil has good public relations and a great reputation in Pune district. Being the MLA of the Graduate constituency and an active worker of the ABVP, he has a strong bonding with college students and staff. Recently, Mr Patil visited Khanderai Pratishthan’s Dnyansagar Institute of Management and Research at Balewadi.

Mr Patil got to experience a grand welcome, full of enthusiasm, by the students of this institute in the traditional Maharashtrian style. He felt overwhelmed with the immense response shown by these management students. Honourable PWD Minister Mr Patil had a brief dialogue with them thereafter.  He also had a discussion session with the staff and the managerial authorities of the institute.

During this session, Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil said that in this election he is contesting as the candidate of BJP- Shiv Sena alliance for the Kothrud-Pune constituency. Pune isn’t new to him since being the MLA of the Pune- Graduate constituency, he has worked for Pune for the past 12 years. He further added that he has received immense co-operation by all students during the Graduate constituency election and now he is expecting this type of cooperation again for different developmental initiatives in Pune city.

Mr Patil further added that although he was not the MLA of a particular area in Pune, he has a good understanding of all the problems associated with this city. As an example, the over bridge work has been long pending at Dange circle and the PWD Department is being headed by Mr Patil only. He will accelerate this work due to the frequent traffic issues and public inconvenience. During his tenure as the PWD Minister, he had sanctioned this project but land acquisition and other issues are time-consuming. He assured the people that the over bridge work will be initiated as early as possible.

Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil also said that he has noticed that the lifestyle and culture of Pune city are unique and changing day by day. Many laughter clubs, gyms, social clubs are operative in the city as of now and their number is only on the rise. Recently, he visited one laughter club in this constituency, and he has promised the authorities to avail fundamental amenities to these clubs.

While concluding the session, Shri Chandrakant Patil said that the establishment of a strong and stable government matters a lot when the betterment of people is concerned. In the last Lok Sabha elections, people have established a strong government in the centre by securing 305 seats instead of 272 required ones. In the same way, the state needs a strong and stable government establishment too. This will trigger the accomplishment of different projects, industry-related issues, educational system improvement, etc. Finally, he thanked all attendees of the session for their valuable time and inputs.

Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil’s approach to include students and education sector stakeholders in this election process is innovative and unique. His strong connection with students and staff has been revived again due to this session. Hopefully, he will be able to reconnect again with the students that happen to be the human capital of India and teachers who mould and shape this capital.
