Educational Facilities to Drought Affected Farmers’ Daughters

The 2019 Lok Sabha election results are out and the second term of Honourable Prime Minister Mr, Narendra Modi Ji has begun. When we look back at the grand success achieved by the BJP in the 2019 election, we conclude that there have been many initiatives undertaken by the BJP that has been instrumental in winning the trust of the masses with their effective planning and decision-making. The Maharashtra State Government, under the leadership of Honourable Chief Minister- Mr Devendra Fadnavis, hasn’t been an exception either when it comes to implementation of different plans, decisions and strategies for the betterment of the common people.

The Revenue and Agriculture Minister of Maharashtra state Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil recently celebrated his 60th birthday on 10th June 2019. On the said occasion, during an interview, he elaborated various plans that the State Government is looking at implementing so as to offer educational facilities to the farmers’ children and the decisions made in order to fight the severe drought conditions, happening in the State year after year.
Honourable Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil informed that fortunately enough, the BJP Government has been able to tackle the drought condition successfully until now. The Government has offered ample fodder, tanker water supply, and employment to the affected people. Fodder camp facilities are run with utmost care to make fodder and water to the cattle available for the cattle. Fortunately, monsoon is in time, however, till June end the Government will offer drought-relief facilities to the farmers and labourers that are affected the most by it.
The drought condition has been overcome by the Government but it can affect the farmers’ families, having a long term impact on them. Basically, it can harm the women in these families with respect to their education and personality development. To avoid this, the State Government will offer free Bus pass facility to girls belonging to these families with a view to help them complete their education. In addition to this, the necessary academic material and dress material will be provided to support these girls. The Government will take proper care to assure that the education of these girls isn’t interrupted.
This initiative undertaken to support the education of drought-affected farmers’ family daughters is highly appreciable. It not only indicates the positive approach of the Government to deal with the drought situation with respect to water and shelter availability alone, but it encompasses its broader vision towards drought-affected families and their empowerment by offering them adequate education facilities. The facility has been made available to farmer family daughters’ and it also promotes – the much-discussed ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ thought process. The Government has supported drought-affected farmer families at par excellence and this type of post support is also exemplary. Hopefully, as per the plan of the BJP Government, Mr Chandrakant Patil will gather huge success in the implementation of this scheme and it will bring a smile on the drought-affected children’s faces.
